   The facts and debt situations are different for each person or couple. In order to give you the best advice when we meet, we will need to have complete information. The following forms have been prepared for you to fill out before your free consultation so that we can give you definite, reliable answers and advice in your personal situation.

            The omission of debts and income can not only prevent us from giving you the best advice, but also if a case is later filed and you intentionally failed to fully disclose your financial assets and liabilities it could lead to criminal prosecution by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

            This is not meant to scare you as NO ONE has a perfect memory, but it is important that you make full disclosure of your true financial situation to the best of your knowledge.

            The consultation is free and confidential. If after our consultation and your full disclosure it is determined that you would lose something that you want to keep or have other circumstances that would make filing a case a problem for you, I will tell you. You will be under NO obligation to file a case or come back to see me.  As much as possible, I like happy and satisfied clients. I will explain to you your options and it will be your decision whether to take any further actions after the initial consultation.

_ _____                __X__                 Copies of recent pay stubs or other proof of income are needed.  The amount of income or lack of income play an important part on what you may or may not be able to do under the bankruptcy law changes of 2005.  If you are single we will need a copy of your last 2 or 3 pay stubs.  If you are married and live with your spouse, we need to see copies of both your and your spouse’s last 2 or 3 pay stubs.  A person can be married and file a case without the spouse filing but if you are living together we still have to show the total household income to determine what legal help you are eligible by law to receive.
